How to sign in
There are four ways to sign in to Invoicebox ID — pick the one that suits this device. The main way is fast: your phone number and an SMS code, no password.
Ways to sign in
- By phone number and SMS code — the main way, the «By phone number» tab. Enter your number, wait for the code in the message, and type it in.
- By login and password — the «By login» tab; your login is your email address. It works if you've set a password.
- Through external services — «T-Bank ID», «Alfa ID», «Sberbank Business ID» or «Yandex ID». You're taken to the chosen service, confirm the sign-in there, and come back already authorized. More on this below.
- With a passkey — the «Sign in with a passkey» button: sign in with your device's fingerprint, face or PIN, if you've set up a key. The button appears when your browser supports passkeys. See how to set one up in the Passkeys article.
If you've signed in on this device before, instead of the form you may see the «Choose a user to sign in» screen with a list of remembered accounts — click yours, or «Sign in as another user».
Signing in through external services
Below the sign-in field there's an «or sign in with» line and service buttons: «T-Bank ID», «Alfa ID», «Sberbank Business ID» and «Yandex ID». Click the button you need: the service itself opens, you confirm the sign-in there, and come back to Invoicebox ID already authorized.
What happens next depends on whether the service already knows you. If you already have a profile with the same confirmed phone or email, the sign-in links to it — you land in your own profile. If there's no match, Invoicebox ID creates a new profile. Your name, email and phone are taken from the service itself.
You can connect or remove services later, from your account: which ones are already linked and how to change that is in the Linked services article.
The second factor at sign-in
Sometimes, after the first step, the service asks for one more code — by SMS or email. This happens in two cases: you have two-factor protection turned on, or you're signing in from a new device — in the second case the code is asked for even if two-factor protection is off.
Instead of a code, you can confirm the sign-in with a passkey, if one is set up on this device.
On the second-factor screen there's a checkbox: «Trust this device — next time no code will be needed from it». Tick it on your personal laptop or phone so you don't enter a code at every sign-in.
Warning
Don't tick «Trust this device» on someone else's or a shared computer. Otherwise the next person at that screen can sign in to your profile without the second code.
The code is valid for a limited time, and the number of entry attempts is limited — once the attempts run out, sign-in is blocked until the end of the day. No access to your phone — write to support.
For more on two-factor protection, see the Two-factor protection article. For which devices are signed in, see Devices and sessions.
If you've forgotten your password
The password is only needed for signing in by login — the main SMS sign-in works without it. But if you do need the password and can't remember it:
- On the «By login» tab, click «Forgot your password?».
- On the «Enter your email address» screen, enter your confirmed email and click «Get code».
- On the next screen, enter the code from the email, type the new password twice and click «Save new password».
You can also reset the password through a link from an email — for example, when the reset was started by a support operator: the link opens the «New password» screen with no code to enter.
If the email with the code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder. If your email isn't confirmed or is unavailable, write to support at c-support@invoicebox.ru or call +7 (812) 448-08-01 (9:00–21:00 Moscow time).
What's next
After signing in, your profile opens. Take a look at the Overview to see the essentials, or strengthen your sign-in right away — turn on two-factor protection and set up a passkey.
