App access
On this screen you see the full list of apps and services that have access to your profile through Invoicebox ID, and exactly what each of them is allowed to do. This is also where you revoke access from those that no longer need it.
What the screen shows
Each entry in the list is an app or service you once let into your profile. An entry shows its state — «Active» or «Revoked» — the date access was granted, and the list of permissions given (at minimum «Profile access»). If there are no apps yet, the screen says just that: «No apps».
Review the list from time to time. Apps pile up more than you'd think, and permissions granted once keep working until you revoke them.
How to revoke access
- Find the app in the list.
- Click «Revoke» next to it and confirm in the «Revoke access?» window — the token issued to the app stops working.
An entry in the «Revoked» state has no button — it's already out of force. After revoking, the app stops working with your profile. To use it again, you'll have to sign in and grant access anew — one revocation doesn't break anything permanently.
Tip
Revoke access from apps you don't recognize or haven't used in a long time. An extra connection is an extra path to your data.
What to watch for
An unfamiliar app in the list is a reason to be wary. If you don't remember connecting it, revoke access and change your password. For the exact picture of who signed in to your profile and when, see the activity history.
Revoking access affects only the chosen app — your other connections and your sign-in to Invoicebox ID stay in force.
What's next
- Work out where a connection came from in the activity history.
- Check the rest of your profile's protection settings in the Security section.
