Security notifications
On the «Security notifications» screen you choose which Invoicebox ID profile events you get an email about. The screen opens from «Security»: the «Security notifications» card → the «Configure» button. Each category has its own toggle. There's nothing to save separately: the moment you move a switch, the setting takes effect.
Fresh events are visible without email too — through the bell in the account header: it opens the «Notifications» window with the latest events and an «All notifications» link.
What you can be warned about
- Sign-in from a new device — an email arrives when your profile is signed in to from a browser or phone the system hasn't seen before.
- Password change — a notification that the password was changed.
- App access revoked — a message when a third-party app has lost access to your profile.
Tip
Leave the new-device sign-in alert on. It's the first signal of someone else's access: if you get such an email and it wasn't you signing in, change your password right away and check your active sessions.
What always arrives
Some notifications can't be turned off: an email change, your profile being blocked, a change to a sign-in method. Such events are too important to miss, so they arrive regardless of the settings on this screen.
How to turn off the extras
If there are too many emails, turn off the categories you don't need. Just flip the switch off — new emails of that type stop arriving. You can bring them back at any time, right here.
Remember: turning a notification off means you won't learn about the event by email. Weigh whether to turn off the alerts for sign-ins and password changes — those are the ones that help you notice someone else using your profile.
What's next
To review what has already happened to your profile, open the activity history — it shows when and from which device Invoicebox ID was signed in to.
