Issuing an invoice
You issue an invoice to a client from your account in six steps — by email, through the Payment Request service, or via EDI. Once issued, the invoice status is tracked in the «My sales» → «Outgoing invoices» section.
How to issue an invoice
- Click the «Issue invoice» button in the left-hand menu.
- Choose a sending method: email, the Payment Request service, or EDI.
- Fill in the main details: order number, payment deadline, payment purposePayment purpose The field in a payment order used to match the payment to an invoice. Include the invoice number there — and the money will be credited automatically. For details, see Payment purpose. →.
- Enter the payer's information: contacts, tax ID (INN), and company details.
- Add goods or services: name, price, quantity and VAT rate.
- Click «Issue invoice».
Tip
You don't have to enter line items manually. On the invoice items step, click “Upload CSV” next to the “Add” button, choose a file and match its columns to the invoice fields — the table fills in automatically. If the first row of the file contains headers, turn on the “Skip 1 row” switch.
How to fill in "Payment purpose"
The system generates the payment purpose automatically. If you edit the field manually, follow four rules — otherwise the bank may hold up the payment.
1. Full counterparty names, without abbreviations. Use data from the state register (EGRIP/EGRUL).
- Incorrect: "I. Ivanov", "Romashka LLC".
- Correct: "Individual Entrepreneur Oleg Igorevich Stepanov (Sole Proprietor)".
2. A detailed and clear description. Formula: goods or service + invoice No. + contract No. + specification + VAT.
- Example: "Payment for delivery of computer equipment (monitor, keyboard) under contract No. 7624 dated 04/10/2026...".
- Avoid empty phrases: "Invoice payment", "For services", "Order No. XXX".
3. Itemization of goods and services — so the bank has no questions and the payment isn't blocked.
4. Checking the details before sending:
- Tax ID (INN) and tax registration reason code (KPP) — an error in the KPP will return the payment;
- the legal entity's address — a change of address can freeze funds.
Note
The "Payment purpose" field holds a maximum of 210 characters — shorten the text without losing meaning.
Invoice notifications
The invoice page in "Outgoing invoices" has a "Notifications" tab: it shows which notifications the service sent for the invoice, through which channel, and with what status. Delivery details are available via the "⋯" menu in the notification row — the "Details" item.
If a payment notification did not reach your system (for example, the receiver was unavailable), send it again: in the "⋯" menu, choose "Resend" and confirm the action. The service will create a copy of the event and queue it for sending. Resending is available only for invoice payment notifications.
