Does an online store need a cash register

When working with Invoicebox, an online store doesn't need to buy cash register equipment (KKT) — this is established by law.

Why a cash register isn't needed

Under Federal Law No. 54-FZ, a receipt is issued at the moment of settlement. Payment for goods and services is received directly by Invoicebox (OOO ORTS) — so the obligation to issue receipts falls on it.

Who issues the receipts
