How counterparty checks work

Invoicebox automatically checks the reliability of counterparties and shows the result as a traffic light: green status means you can work with them, yellow means the bank may follow up with questions, red means high risk. The tool is completely free and helps reduce risk under tightened bank controls (Federal Law No. 115-FZ).

Risk traffic light

Green status. The counterparty is reliable, and the risk of the bank declining the payment is minimal.

Yellow status. There are some nuances: recent registration, minor data discrepancies. The bank may request supporting documents and delay the payment by a few hours.

Red status. High-risk factors were found: the counterparty is on a stop list, or there are signs of unreliability. Under the agency scheme, the payment is not processed; for direct payments, we recommend holding off on the deal.

What the check gives you

  • Saves time: no need to check counterparties manually.
  • Flags potential problems before you issue an invoice.
  • Protects your bank account from being blocked.
  • Costs nothing — the service is completely free.
